There were 4 different dowels the factory used. The 9260 has rounded ends, the others are roller bearing rollers.

Jan Willem Boon's fantastic site show the 9220 as a roller- "Roller, standard 0.2498" x 0.490". There are eBay ads for Eastern Motorcycle parts says the 9220 is for Big Twin 58-86 right side bearings

The 9261 is a roller beading, but longer than the  9220. Jan Willem Boon says: "Roller, standard 0.2498 x 0.600". The trap door has through-holes for these dowels so these longer ones should work in any year.
